What is CLP

By law, every fragrance must be labelled.

The CLP regulation (EC 1272/2008) governs the classification, labelling and packaging of chemical substances. Candles and home fragrances contain fragrance oils that must show hazard pictograms, hazard statements and allergens. Selling without a compliant label exposes you to penalties and marketplace removal.
